Led by Dr. Kanta Kochhar, Executive Director of Weavings, and the core project team, this introductory workshop offered participants an immersive engagement with the themes and methods central to the Weavings: Multisensory Theatres, Pragmatic Technologies and Future Readiness residency that then took place in June.

Through experimental forms such as theatre in the dark, visual and object theatre, touch-image performance, and accessible sound-based practices, the session will explore how multisensory and mixed-ability approaches can inform inclusive and innovative theatre-making.

Participants collaboratively developed a short scenario during the workshop, which was shared at a public Open House at 4 PM, also hosted at Ala. @alaculturalcentre
